She is wonderful! She has helped me learn to shift the focus on myself and she has been supportive in providing ways to come up with things that can assist me with my therapy. The talk therapy has helped tremendously. My family has noticed a calmness in me which I did not even pick up on. She makes me feel heard, noticed, and is kind and very professional. She takes the time to listen and she will help push you in the direction needed for your goals. I am glad to know her and love that I have someone who will work with me to help reach my potential and give me the tools needed to get me where I need to be. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I can start my intended path and will have the tools necessary to have a more positive outlook and courage, that I have lost for quite some time, towards my future.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jamila is very supportive and understanding. I appreciate her because she is positive but still real and not condescending like some therapists can be. I can trust her to be honest and direct with me. She's great. I've never had a therapist I felt comfortable opening up to like that before.
