Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

My sessions with Sara have really helped me.
Sara is polite and punctual, allows me a safe space to discuss concerns. She has provided me tools to work on but has the emotional intelligence to allow time For these to be processed.
For the longest time in my life I had no idea that I was allowed to be my own best friend. It was unaware to me that I could be the landmark of safety in my life. There was no-one I could trust with my emotions without having an unhealthy emotional attachment to them. However, through therapy and the support of Sara S there is light… I am bathed in the light of hope, clarity, grace and a playful perspective of my present-future. In the past I had always viewed therapy as just a space to talk but it’s soo much more than that - well it has been for me. It has been the development of my reprogramming, realignment and new understand of what it means to feel safe in the world that bruised and battered me till the point that I constantly rejected my own self. I accept myself and truly I am grateful I took accountability of my own mental health then found a therapist. My one true desire is to perpetually stoke the light of my fire for the fire is the journey of my life. The never ending story :) Thank you for your support and professional friendship, the work I do daily on my own self development is supported by the weekly sessions we have. Grateful!
After having a few therapists previously and not feeling like we were making great progress I have had the space and support needed with Sara. My confidence and self awareness dealing with unresolved wounds has increased. There is hope and light in the future for me. My understanding of boundaries and my appreciation of my own humanity (emotions and relationships specifically) has evolved. My time with Sara has been what I needed to evolve emotionally. She has my appreciation - especially for her professionalism and ability to make me feel secure and valued.
Sara takes the time to listen to what my worries and thoughts are. She also give me tools and mini challenges to work through to understand myself more, why I am the way I am and decide whether I want to continue this way (why or why not). Speaking with Sara has provided me with a safe space to explore my thoughts and feelings, and she responds to my strengths and needs to tailor the tools and suggestions to me. Thanks Sara!
Kind and patient very open to listening to to the problem carefully and providing an insight as to to how I could think about my issues differently.
