I have felt very seen in my sessions, which is good. I’ve been holding on to a lot and needed a safe space to explore many complex issues. These have always been done with empathy and support, which is needed.

Hi.
My name is Kathleen Morgan and I’m a qualified counsellor, my training as a therapist began in 2002 and I have completed five years of training. The models of therapy I offer are psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalytic therapy – the roots of which lie in the theories of Sigmund Freud and other prolific psychoanalysts. I am a member of and abide by the British Association of Counselling Practitioners’ code of ethics, which can be viewed on the BACP website.
With compassion and by listening about what troubles you, I aim to help you access a deeper level of understanding about yourself and how you relate to others, in a safe and respectful space. Therapy sessions are on a regular basis and last for 45 minutes. We are all unique and I structure the therapeutic relationship around you: I may interpret what I feel is happening in our working alliance, in a way of helping you to reach a deeper level of understanding about yourself and how you relate to others, Psychotherapy can lead to personal fulfilment that endures way past your time in therapy.
The experience of talking about your problems can be painful and this takes commitment of staying with the process to facilitate personal insights.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Dr. Morgan has been very supportive and has helped me understand my daily experiences with a new perspective. She is empathic and respectful.
So far I have only had two sessions with Kathleen. However in these two sessions we have been able to dig deep into my past to address my current day issues. She is respectful and shows she really cares and what’s to help me work through these issues. She’s very attentive and remembers everything we discuss. I would definitely reccomend her.
I'm starting my second therapy cycle with Kathleen, after having successfully completed the first one last year. The effects of that last one still last and have had a hugely positive effect in my life, allowing me to return to a highly active lifestyle again. This second cycle addresses a related, though separate issue, and she has my full trust in the process. As always with her, it feels more like a friendly conversation than a therapy session, which allows for an easy flow and more open insights. Super-happy to be back with the right pair of hands on deck :)
After only a few sessions in, I realised I couldn't be happier with the type of therapist Kathleen is. She listens attentively and shares valuable tools in the process. I highly recommend her.
Kathleen has been an incredible support to me and so compassionate and kind
I am very happy that I found Kathleen on Better Help. I am very happy with her therapy sessions and the improvement in my mental wellbeing
Kathleen is patient and kind. I feel so lucky to have had her support over the past 4 months.
Kathleen is a wonderful therapist, who listens carefully (she remembers everything!), is very practical and straightforward and challenges me in a constructive way. I tried therapy numerous times and after working with her for a year, I can tell she's one of the best therapists I ever had. At least for me, it works great (therapy is very individual thing). I also like that she's informal and we can crack a joke or two - helps with the whole thing!
Kathleen is very attentive and kind, great listener. She can have really good insights/comments.
Kathleen is incredible. She has been able to help me navigate through very challenging times. She always has really helpful insights and allows me to reframe my thoughts by suggesting associations I would not be able to think about on my own. I always felt safe, heard, understood and respected. She is incredibly kind and compassionate. Thank you Kathleen!!
Kathleen shows a lot of empathy and she really tries to understand all the factors involved when giving advice. I have asked for someone to not just listen but also to actively participate in the conversation and to give real input into therapy. She does just that, it has been a truly healing experience and I will definitely continue!
I am very comfortable with Kathleen as a therapist. She is very engaging and is great at both listening and being responsive. I have found her worksheets vey interesting and relevant. Would highly recommend.
I feel like I can talk to Kathleen about all the issues I have in my life. She listens, remembers and offers me help and direction in getting better
Kathleen is a great therapist, she’s warm, compassionate and good listener. It’s easy to share with her and her insights are useful. I’d recommend this therapist.
Kathleen is human, first and foremost. And being able to listen and communicate like a human being, even in the context of a therapy session, is what makes me feel at home and at ease with her. It feels like talking to a friendr, and it's only by noticing the changes in me afterwards that I'm even aware that our therapy worked. The "therapist" is invisible, working her magic, gently nudging the conversation here and there, teasing out some questions - and then the right boxes are opened and an organic change and growth comes about. highly recommended.
Kathleen was an incredibly beneficial help to me during a particularly rough time in my life. Speaking to her allowed me to internalise and solve my own problems and I will always be grateful for that.
It has been helpful talking to Kathleen & look forward to more sessions
Kathleen has made me feel the most at ease and doesn’t judge me at all for anything I say. I’ve always worried about paying for therapy mainly cos of low self esteem, however she is fantastic and the reason I’m going to carry on paying for what I need. I’m so glad I matched with Kathleen. Anyone who does and is new, she is the most genuine lovely person and you’d definitely love having her match with you.
Kathleen is very warm and compassionate, a good listener that is able to create a safe environment for sharing.
Kathleen is awesome, she’s super nice and listens to me and I love hearing her side of things :)
Kathleen has provided me with a platform to discuss the issues that I find difficult to work through and provided me with some interesting insights into why I may feel or perceive them a certain way. By doing so, she has also shown me an alternative viewpoint to challenge some of my conditioned beliefs which has been helpful. I look forward to continue working with her.
Really helpful. Still working out a lot of things though
Such a lovely, caring and compassionate therapist. I had such a welcoming first session and look forward to the next:)
