Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Margaret is very patient, understanding and sensitive with her approach. She is really interested in her clients and does her job well. I don't feel insecure about telling her anything, I know that she will always see things objectively and won't judge me, which is really important in therapy.

I have been working with Margaret for a little while now. Margaret is a receptive and attentive listener and very skilled in "joining the dots" across therapy sessions and different parts of my life we've discussed to provide valuable insights and keys for healing. The environment feels safe, well-paced and productive. Highly recommended.

Margaret is the best therapist I have ever had, and was also the first one I’ve ever had. From the start she explained the betterhelp process to me and had been helpful through my journey. I love how flexible she can be if a time doesn’t suit your schedule too. She helped my relationship, myself, and my girlfriend with our problems. My relationship and I are in a much better place now.

She is amazing!!!

Reviewed September 2022

Margaret was responsive and I was confident in her care I have just personally decided that in person therapy would be a better fit so won’t be continuing with Betterhelp.
