I have been doing therapy with Deborah Gornall for about 3 and a half months now, and have benefitted greatly from her expertise and her understanding. She is a very warm and supportive person, and offers empathy and validation, which is critical and has made me feel seen, heard and understood. She provides clients with a kind and safe space, which is necessary for healing from childhood trauma. Deborah’s ability to be compassionate, understanding and validating as a therapist offers clients an alternative mindset and kinder way to view themselves. This has been immensely helpful for me and for others who may struggle sometimes with a negative critic or outlook. In addition, Deborah is very insightful and is able to really zero in on subconscious patterns, and the root of issues, which not all therapists are able to do. Deborah is also professional and knowledgeable, and has assisted me with unpacking complex and difficult situations. She has truly helped me to make a lot of progress on my healing journey already. Debroah is an amazing therapist, and I cannot recommend her enough!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I’m sad to be writing this as it means my time with Debbie has come to an end, but I can’t thank her enough for the support she has provided me with to change my perception, reframe my thinking and believe in myself. Debbie was never once judgemental, she accepted me and my ways of thinking, and never once questioned why I’d came to perceive situations this way. She just worked through them with me, slowly but with encouragement, to reframe how I felt and how to deal with these going forward. Debbie used a variety of short assessments and questionnaires to establish where I needed support and how we worked to achieving my goals. It’s important to be open minded to these, as it really allowed us to have a shared understanding of how we move forward. Thanks Debbie for all your help.

Through our sessions Deborah has given me the strength to get my life back. When I first started counselling I was a shell of a person, withdrawn from friends and family, anxious to see anyone and going through a tough break up. Deborah's warm and caring attitude along with targetted support sessions have given me the strength and independence I needed to regain happiness again. I cannot recommend Deborah more highly to anyone who is considering counselling. She helped me through my darkest times and for that I will forever be grateful. Thank you!
