Therapy with Paula has been absolutely amazing. I started therapy with her to tackle my lifelong avoidant behavior and I can see how my sessions over the past year have helped me in so many ways that I didn't even expect. She is so very helpful in untangling ways I have been thinking, guiding me towards a greater understanding of myself. Paula is a joy to talk to, warm and non-judgmental and talking to her always invites me to take a closer look at my emotions.

Hi. Has the time come for you to consider making a change? I hear you. My name is Paula and I am a qualified therapist based in Liverpool. I studied counselling with Staffordshire university and I achieved a Bachelor of Honours degree. I offer a safe, warm and non judgemental space in which your story can be shared and your feelings can be explored. My experience is drawn from working with individuals suffering from the effects of complex trauma. I have a professional interest in working with parents/caregivers, supporting them to learn new skills and to assist in enhancing and promoting existing skills. I also work with couples, with a view to enhancing their relationships and gaining a deeper awareness of their own needs and expectations.
Therapy can offer change and can equip you with the tools you may need to move forward. I believe that therapy is a personal experience, one size doesn’t fit all, so how would it feel to explore which approach would suit you best? We can work together to promote positive change. Every journey starts with a step. It’s ok to fall, but with help, we can get up and keep moving. My faith and belief in the power of therapy is the foundation of my warm and non judgemental approach. If you feel ready to share your story and to be heard, then I am here to walk beside you on your journey of self awareness and discovery.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

At the age of 64 this is my first introduction to psychotherapy. I wish I started this journey 40 years ago. I will advise my kids to start the journey asap.
Loving the advice so far. Very helpful and practical!
I’ve had Paula as my therapist for a couple of months now and, though the time has been short, I have seen and felt so much improvement within myself. Paula has metaphorically walked alongside me on my therapy journey, especially struggling through my Postpartum Depression, and I am so grateful to have been matched by BetterHelp with her. She has been such an empowering, understanding and caring presence for me and I cannot recommend her enough as a therapist. Thank you Paula, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you ❤️
I have only just started therapy with Paula, but already she has helped me make some more sense of my feelings. I feel hugely optimistic about tackling my avoidant behaviour with her help and feel uplifted by the few sessions we have had.
Paula is very sincere and modest. She understands what I mean, even when I am not quite sure what I mean. Her strategies helped me to boost my confidence and I feel much stronger and independent. She helped me learn to be more kind to myself and trust in my abilities, which is extremely empowering.
Paula is a true professional. She is a great listener, she is caring and understanding, and she gives actionable advice. She is also also accessible and flexible. I highly recommend her!
Paula is a good listener and I felt heard and understood. This was my first time having a therapist and it has helped a lot already! I highly recommend Paula if you want to talk about life as a whole and get some open questions that will help you come to conclusions yourself, but also get professional knowledge about why we behave like we do. Thank you Paula!
Paula is wise and wonderful. I’ve been working with her for several months now, and I attribute so so much growth and peace in my life to these sessions. I'm so grateful for Paula’s talent for taking any seemingly unmanageable emotion or problem, getting to the root of it, and thinking through realistic and manageable solutions and ways to cope.
Paula’s caring and inquisitive nature helped me to see the issues I was having from a different perspective. This allowed me the space and clarity of mind to acknowledge and understand the origin of these issues in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I would highly recommend Paula as a therapist.
I was unsure about signing up for this app. I wasn’t convinced it would actually help…. But Paula’s made a real difference in my life and the perspective I have on life. It’s like having a friend on standby for difficult questions. She always gets back to me when I leave a journal entry and seems to find the right words for every situation. I’m all honesty it’s like a phone call with my gran, straight forward, funny and helpful (no offense Paula
