I am Diana Pereira da Silva, a Practitioner Psychologist with full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the modalities of Health Psychologist and Counselling Psychologist. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation.
I have a wealth of experience providing counselling to people with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, post-traumatic stress disorder, disturbed sleep, caregiver issues and stress, family and relationship issues, chronic pain, illness and disability, co-morbidity, hospice and end of life counselling, life purpose and immigration issues.
I am very skilled in applying Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy in my sessions.
