I am a Person Centred counsellor offering 1-2-1 confidential counselling sessions. I have worked with a wide range of concerns with my clients, ranging from domestic violence, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, loneliness, relationship issues, self esteem, family issues, trauma, abuse.

I have a non judgemental therapy style that is client led. I believe that everyone needs support at some time and I treat everyone with respect and acceptance.

I understand that you may be nervous, it takes courage to seek counselling and even more courage to make the initial contact with a potential counsellor. Your reasons for seeking counselling may already be causing you some distress, I understand this and will do everything that I can to make you feel at ease.

I am unable to offer advice and I will never dictate what you should do or how you should deal with a situation, that is not what I am here for. I am here to listen to you and provide you with an unbiased ear. I aim to provide you with an environment where you feel safe and comfortable enough to be able to explore your thoughts and feelings. At all times, your counselling is led by you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
