I have only had two sessions with Cathy, but in that time, I have felt listened to, supported, and ‘normal’ (meaning I generally think my ‘difficulties’ in life ostracize me). Besides from just her words, she offers documents that help to further explain what you are experiencing, and how to manage it.

Cathy is warm and wise. She is kind. She listens and feeds back and she takes time to read my journals helpfully drawing out points to review. She doesn’t make unrealistic claims - she holds steady!

More about Catherine

I like to say I offer a 'winning mix' of blended therapies. I use counselling skills and my 'counsellors ear' to really listen to your current struggles and blockages; and I couple this with solution focused brief therapy and coaching strategies to help move you forward and help you identify and use a wide range of tools and strategies to help with your issues.

I know it takes a lot of courage to seek the help of a professional to help get you 'unstuck' from where you are and that's why my style is warm and friendly which allows you to set the pace and to take the lead in our sessions. My role is to offer a non-judgemental space in which you are free to explore your innermost feelings; as well as guide the therapeutic process.

Some clients feel, either during the counselling process or at the end, that they would like to explore some strategies to help propel them forward in their personal development, and this is where Solution-Focused Coaching plays a part. With over 10 years of experience as a Life Coach, I can help with tools to help you move forward.  These tools are particularly useful for those clients suffering from low self-esteem, low self-worth and lack of confidence.

The way I work with clients, is totally guided by you the client and I'm here to support you all the way.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I've had three sessions with Cathy so far and she has been fabulous from the first moment. It's my first ever time having therapy and she's supporting me through a challenging breakup. Cathy is an excellent listener and she guides me expertly with her questions. She is patient, kind, caring, empathetic, logical and resourceful - everything I need in a therapist and more. Thank you Cathy.

When Cathy found me I was in an impasse. In a mere 2 weeks I feel so much better. Cathy's calm and reassuring vibe was much needed. She's very warm, friendly and empathetic. I enjoy our sessions very much.
