Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Jennifer has given me so much hope in my mental health journey. I owe her my life :)
I’ve had Jennifer as a therapist for over a year now and she is by far the best therapist I’ve had. She has helped me through so many problems and transitions and worked with me on my anxiety and other things I struggle with. While Jennifer is a great listener, she is also extremely validating and gives me tangible things I can work on and practical tools to use. I could not imagine where I’d be without the support of Jennifer.
She's so nice and patient! Asks engaging questions and is empathetic! ❤️
I was very hesitant about starting betterhelp but really needed to be back in therapy. I hit rock bottom and I am so incredibly grateful that I got matched with Jennifer Grinter as my therapist. She’s seriously one of the most amazing therapists I’ve ever had. From session one I felt incredibly comfortable talking with her. Even during our third session, it felt like I had her as a therapist for so much longer.
Appreciate jens skills to listen and be very empathic. I feel listened too.
Jennifer is awesome my anxiety and management with stress has improved significantly. I'm very grateful to have Jennifer as my therapist! She's very kind, funny and genuine. In addition, she's very attentive to body language and facial expressions. Also, she delivers techniques and skills to help manage anxiety that have been extremely helpful. I have nothing but great experiences doing therapy with Jennifer.
I've been working with Jennifer for a year. Whether it be my deepest traumas to even things that are more mundane like my relationship with my family, she's always been there to help me out :)
I have had multiple therapists over the last 6 years I’ve been going to therapy and Jennifer is by far the best therapist I’ve ever had. She is a compassionate listener, gives excellent and intentional advice, and asks really introspective and productive questions. She speaks with such a casual but caring nature that instantly makes me feel comfortable and at ease and she has such a way of validating my emotions and experiences. One of the best things about Jennifer is her ability to listen to something I’m going through and relate it back to something I talked about weeks or months ago. She takes notes, she pays attention, and she’s lovingly honest. Many times she has said “that reminds me of when you talked about this…” and I go “omg you’re so right”. This is someone that cares deeply about helping others and she has helped me through so many breakthroughs. What a gift to have Jennifer as a therapist! Endlessly grateful for her guidance.
Jennifer is AMAZING! She has helped me unlock many internal obstacles that I, myself, didn’t know I have kept suppressed for so long and has genuinely helped me learn more about where they stem from. She listens and provides the BEST feedback to everything I have to say (no matter how big or little it is). She is the BEST. She provides a safe, non judgment, open space to say everything and anything freely!
Jennifer is a fantastic therapist! She's incredibly understanding and supportive, making our sessions feel like chatting with a good friend. I've gained so much insight and support from her, and she offers practical advice to help deal with life!
She’s great. I wish there were more of her so she could talk to more people. 10/10 would recommend.
Jennifer is the absolute best. She is caring, compassionate, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. She always knows not only what to say, but how to say it. I can’t recommend her enough.
Jennifer is great and I greatly appreciate her help and expertise!
An actual gem of a therapist keeping me alive
I’ve only seen her twice, and have already gotten so much insight on myself. She’s amazing. Thank you and I’m excited for the future!
Jennifer is definitely someone I would recommend to anyone. She's brilliant. Her sense of humor is premium and her methods really engage my thinking. Talking to her is like talking to a good friend who's also a therapist and honestly I feel my issues dissipating. Thanks Jen.
She is caring, understanding, and very supportive!
