Hello, I’m Kimberley, a counselling psychotherapist who is passionate about helping people through their unique life journeys. Originally from Liverpool, I now live in East Devon with my two dogs. I became a therapist because I wanted to help those who may have struggled to find the support they need elsewhere. I’m dedicated to helping people who often feel overlooked and unheard.

Over the years, I’ve supported a wide range of individuals, including members of the GSRD (Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diverse) communities, survivors of domestic violence, and military personnel. I help people facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, long-term health issues, work stress, relationship problems, identity concerns, and difficult life events. My approach is caring and non-judgemental, focusing on creating a confidential space where you can explore and heal from your past experiences. We’ll work together to understand and manage symptoms, build resilience, and help you regain control over your life. Afterall mental health is just as important as physical health. It can change based on different things happening in our lives, like stress or health conditions. Feeling overwhelmed, burned out, stressed, or worried is common and can happen to anyone. It’s not a sign of weakness; it’s part of being human. Seeking help for mental health issues is a strong and positive step.

My approach to therapy is integrative and humanistic. That means it is all about understanding you as a person and what you need. I use a mix of different methods to fit your unique experiences. I believe in the power of understanding yourself, developing ways to cope with challenges, and growing as a person. Together, we’ll build a relationship based on trust, honesty, and acceptance – a place where you can feel truly heard and understood.

I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, focusing on inclusivity and mutual respect. My work is driven by genuine care and a deep passion for people. It’s not about labels; it’s about understanding each person’s unique story and how it shapes them. I strive to truly see, hear, and value my clients for who they are. Together, we will develop a tailored approach that fits your specific needs and schedule. Whether we meet via telephone, video, or online messaging, my commitment to providing a supportive and empowering therapeutic experience remains steadfast.

Life has a way of presenting us with challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming. No matter what you’re going through, I am here to listen, support, and help. Together, we will navigate your story, turning challenges into opportunities for growth and self-understanding. My goal is to support you through your challenges and help you find your path to healing and personal growth. It is an honour to be part of your journey towards your own "happily ever after."

My Qualifications include;

• PGCERT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (2023)

• Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy (2020)

• Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling (2019)

• CPD Bereavement and Loss (2019)

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
