Kirsty has been fantastic so far, helping me unpack my feelings inside and outside of my relationship. She has been supportive and has offered great advice in all sessions. Sometimes we simply need to rest and reflect when things become too much. No matter the reason which brings you to seek support, counselling can offer you a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings when life is tough.

I am a person centred counsellor based in Glasgow with experience of working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, anger, depression, loneliness, low self-worth, stress, illness, relationship and family issues, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma (including CPTSD), bereavement and loss plus many others. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, so you will have control over the pace and direction of our sessions together. I create a calm, supportive environment in which you can feel safe and not judged with our therapeutic relationship helping you to understand more clearly how to deal with the difficulties you are experiencing.

I work with individual clients aged 16+ on a 1:1 basis, counselling by telephone and online. I understand that the first step is often the hardest and want to make that as easy as possible for you. It is never a waste of time to connect whether we work together or not.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
