Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Amanda is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and understanding of my situations of what is both happening in the present as well as things that’s happened years ago! I am beyond happy that I feel confident and secure when I speak with her. Before, I was not super big on therapy because I thought therapy didn’t work, but now I see how incredibly important it is to talk about my struggles!

It's nice to have someone so personable to talk with. Also the followup weekly messages are great and serve as a reminder of my personal wellness goals. Thanks!

I love my therapist! She has a very calm and nurturing voice and personality. I feel safe when ever we have our sessions like a judgement free zone. I feel she gets me and really listens. She checks in often and she does a great job as well in keeping in touch and writing little tips and cooping techniques on how to handle stress. I also really love the fact that she always provides a brief quote of inspiration. I’d recommend her!
