James is a good listener and while giving advice remains non-judgmental. I highly recommend him to others needing therapy from Better Help.

I remember my first session with James I asked him for tools to help with my anxiety RIGHT AWAY and he did exactly that - not many therapists I've worked with in the past have been able to provide actionable advice in the very first session. He has helped me over several months work through my anxious attachment style, I now am much more proactive in managing my reaction to triggers and am much more confident in myself/secure in my relationship. He's a great therapist, really listens and is there for you, I highly recommend.

I'm new to therapy but James immediately made me feel at ease. I feel heard during the sessions. James has helped me be more aware of how I speak to myself and to quieten my negative voice. I'm early in my journey but have made positive strides and highly recommend James services

James has been an excellent therapist for me over the past 4 months. I came to him in a very difficult situation and really struggling internally with myself, and how I felt about myself. He helped me develop a mental toolkit that has been invaluable to improving how I feel about myself and dealing with difficulties that arrive in my life. He's always been incredibly quick to respond to messages and never fails to help me understand more about myself. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

James has been supporting me for a few months now and helping me with issues ranging from my family / relationships to motivation with my career / personal projects - I have put off using therapy for a long time before downloading betterhelp and being assigned to James, and honestly I just feel like I should have started earlier - James is understanding and makes an effort to relate to your problems and will ask the right questions to make you see what the root of your issues may be in a non judgemental way- I want to reiterate the non judgemental nature of his sessions as this was a big deal for me coming from a judgemental family - creating this freeing space where you can be honest has been the most important part of my mental health journey and I appreciate the fact that James had given me that Thank you!!!

I have only had a few sessions with James, he listens attentively and asks questions which have made me learned a lot about myself in a very short time.

Reviewed December 2022

I've come away from sessions with James feeling lighter, and more accepting of myself. I had never had a male therapist before, so I was a little cautious but he was patient and understanding about that. It worked for me to have this combination of addressing issues and then laughing to blow off steam. I've learned a lot and softened in my perspective throughout the process.

Working with James has been a transformational experience. It's so empowering to see sustainable personal growth for the first time with the help of therapy. His counseling style is like having an unconditional cheerleader. He's there for you in the pit and celebrates your progress! After EVERY session, I feel like I have the fuel to face my challenges independently.

Working with James has been especially insightful and helpful. He has helped me see the patterns that have held me back in the past. Offering a safe enviorment that is judgement free and very open for sharing anything. I have seen tremendous progress within myself in the span of a few months, and he has been a big part of my success. He offers a lot of helpful exercises and worksheets that are very helpful and easy to work through. He is a very mindful therapist that takes your concerns into consideration, and he also shares a handful of books and podcasts that he thinks are suited for you. I recommand attempting to work with him and hopefully you'll have great progress, as I had myself.
