Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

An absolute pleasure to have such a therapist! As a young person, he really listens and understands and tries to better adapt the conversation to family specific circumstances. In the very few sessions I have had so far, Brendan has really helped calm down a lot of my worries and given me unimaginable strengths. Many thanks to Better help for shining the light on such amazing hero’s!

I’m so appreciative to have Brendan by my side on my mental heathy journey. His very human approach has been tremendously helpful, and I’m feeling the benefits of his contribution even just after a couple of sessions. I recommend wholeheartedly Brendan as a therapist.

Since starting I have felt heard and understood, I have also felt lucky that I have paired with a therapist who can relate to me also, this makes our sessions resonate and I also feel afterward that I have something to integrate and apply. I didnt know what to expect when signing up, all I knew was I needed some help, I'm already feeling so much more at ease with myself and feeling confident about the future.

Finding a therapist is a difficult thing to do. Because the relationship depends on so many affecting factor. Brendan has been a brilliant fit for me, with his wonderfully empathic disposition. His calm, non-judgemental understanding means he can offer insight from a fresh perspective, which can be very helpful when you are consumed by internalised cyclical thought patterns. He shows genuine concern and sympathy for your situation, and approaches his work in an explorative way with no expectations or forced goals. There is no pressure, yet we still make headway with his helpful observations and methods of application. I would happily recommend Brendan to anyone experiencing mental health difficulty. He will listen, assess, and help you come to your own realisations. An impressive skill in a therapist.
