Life is hard for many of us and having a safe space to talk and be listened to, without fear of judgement or others opinions being foisted on us, is paramount to our health and well-being. Talking therapies are more relevant today than ever, as many of us are isolated and struggle in our relationships and lives. All types of mental health issues can be helped with psychotherapy. Medication is not the answer for many of us, it doesn’t help us to understand and change our feelings and responses to others.

I specialise in relationship issues, low self esteem and trauma. I have worked with drug and alcohol misuse for 7 years now, however , this encompasses many mental health conditions, domestic abuse, bullying, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, food issues and others. I work with different types of therapy , depending on my client’s issues.

I understand how hard it is to take that initial step and reach out for help, I would encourage you, though, to take that step and let me help you to transform your life for the better.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Caring. Empathetic and kind. Calm and friendly demeanour makes it easy for someone like myself to open up a bit when traditionally I’m a brick wall. Debra is definitely in the right field of work :)

The sessions have really helped me and Debi has been amazing. I never thought it could be so easy talking to someone and opening up whilst on a video call. I would highly recommend her! My topic was very sensitive to me but she has been brilliant and with a few sessions I already feel big improvements! Thank you Debi!
