Are you looking for a safe space to talk?

Sometimes, we just need to talk to someone who isn’t connected to anyone else we know. If you’re going through a challenging time or feel unable to share certain aspects of your life with people around you, counselling offers a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I’m here to support you and help validate your experiences.

As an integrative therapist, I work with adults (and young people outside of BetterHelp) to address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression, and low self-esteem. We can unpack your past if that’s what you’d like, or focus on the present to tackle the challenges that affect your daily life.

I adapt my approach by drawing from various therapeutic theories, depending on your needs and the issues at hand. One of the most important aspects of counseling is the relationship between the client and the therapist. I am committed to being non-judgmental, empathetic, and genuine. I listen deeply to what you bring into each session, focusing on what matters most to you.

Sometimes, feeling better means learning to process your thoughts more effectively, so they don't negatively impact your day-to-day life. Let’s work together to find clarity and build resilience.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Emma is a fantastic therapist, I couldn't recommend her more. To think that I was in such a dark place and have been able to feel joy and happiness again is entirely crazy to think about. I have had a great experience speaking with her and it's very nice to have someone to talk to. I was sceptical at first as I had never had any therapy before, but Emma has made sure that it's nothing to be scared of and that we can talk about anything to clear my mind and get all the thoughts out. Emma listens and takes interest in what you're up to as well, it's like speaking with a friend and sharing our week with each other. Emma has provided me with all the necessary support that I required to help me get better quicker. She provides useful exercises to help with situations and I really couldn't recommend her more.
