My name is Dan Ulberg, and I'm a licensed therapist in Oklahoma. You can take a look at my profile to learn a little bit more about my background and approach. Please also feel free to ask questions. I am licensed in Oklahoma with 13 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & depression. Online counseling is fairly new, and I've found it to be really effective for many issues.

My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time right now, but I'm really glad you are reaching out. I'd like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Reviewed August 2024

He’s awesome he gives great feedback and he isn’t as intense and serious as the other therapists that I have seen in the past, which makes him very easy to talk to and open up with. I’ve had a problem with many previous therapists who’s strategies were mostly listening while writing god knows what on their note pad but only ever occasionally contributing something to my thoughts and feelings. Daniel on the other hand actively contributes in the conversation and sincerely listens to my ruminations. before I would go on a ramble about my week while the therapist maybe says 5 sentences, and then times up. I would leave unsure of what to do with myself… Daniel actually gives me advise and works together with me to construct a plan that I can put in motion to better things, and so far it’s been helping. I believe that the biggest thing that Daniel has offered me in our sessions is insight on how to better and fix my problems, and even if I can’t fix them, how to live with them a little easier.. in summary Daniel is great and I’m glad that he is my therapist.

Betterhelp is a Godsend. Affordable therapy without cutting back on quality. My therapist, Daniel Ulberg is the perfect fit. When I first began using Betterhelp, I was looking through the photos. I saw Daniel's profile, and continued on. But, the draw to Daniel was so significant that I scrolled back to and selected him. No wonder the forces kept my mind focused on him. He is the perfect fit. For starters, we both follow the same faith. He is the exact fit for me. I have opened up to him in ways I haven't been able to get the same response from my husband. Thank you so very much Betterhelp and Daniel Ulberg. You have been one of the most valuable gift to me, ever!

He challenges me just enough and makes me think of things in different ways in order to make the best decisions in my life. I'm so thankful for Dan and for BetterHelp.

Dan has been AMAZING! He put me at ease immediately, spent a good amount of time at our first session just getting to know me - and telling me enough about himself that made me feel confident that his background was a good match for me. He has a great sense of humor and we laugh as well as getting in to the deep stuff. I am making real progress with his guidance; I feel more confident in myself and what I want in life going forward.
