I’m forever grateful for Ms Richardson’s help. She truly is not only an expert, but is the most caring person I’ve ever known.

I have worked with Deborah since January 2024 and she has been much more than I could have wished for. I have worked with therapists in the past and I've gone through DBT classes, from which I did learn some things. However, Deborah listens to me and gives me guidance through my situation. She is someone you can easily connect with. She is smart, kind, empathetic and funny. She has helped me deal with some very serious trauma that has tortured me for a lifetime. With her guidance, I was finally able to let go of the source of the pain. I will forever be grateful to Deborah for her help, her guidance, and her kindness.

More about Deborah

Hello, my name is Debbie Richardson and I have worked in the Counseling field for the past 36 years. I pride myself in being honest, able to appreciate people’s strengths and their struggles and believe that when people take the time to open the door to asking for help, it’s often uncomfortable and brave. It also can be just the right time to look at ourselves and figure out where we fit or want to fit in our world: in relationships, careers, and in our own skin. We can not control other’s thoughts or behaviors – all we can change is our reactions to them, both behaviorally and emotionally. Therapy isn’t magic. It’s a relationship between people that is open and truthful and asking and answering the right questions can help us see and understand things differently. It can be a pathway to a better understanding of ourselves and others and what our version of content could look like.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Deborah is an amazing listener. She is also greatly professional(without being too serious) I feel as we’ve gotten more comfortable through sessions she is really great at mirroring my energy and reframing what I’m experiencing. I tend to be stubborn and disagreeable and she has been amazingly patient and respectful. I highly recommend her services!
