Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

We really appreciate Jamie's assistance with helping us working through family conflict issues.
Jamie is extremely knowledgeable. Experienced and caring. She related to me in many levels including in religion and faith. Very smart and supportive. Wonderful person!
Only good things to say about Jamie, professional approach with a comforting demeanour. You don’t feel like you’re talking to a therapist but an educated friend. Definitely the type of person to let you know if your views of life are jaded which is what I need at times, while providing feedback to better the way you think about things. The scheduled appointment with Jamie is something I look forward to. Would recommend to anyone who feels stuck. Couldn’t say enough good things.
My sessions with Jamie helped me clarify what I want and how to go about getting it. She gave me some great suggestions, but was also an excellent listener and sounding board. I highly recommend her.
