Hello, as a professional qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, I am trained to listen and help you explore and reflect on issues. Looking to help with anxiety, panic, stress, anger, low self-esteem, depression, relationship issues, trauma, sexual abuse and other issues that are effecting your mental health. .

I am a cognitive behaviour therapist but have adapted my style to include many counselling skills including psychodynamic, person centred and attachment that can help the client get to the deeper and inner issue, and gain a greater self awareness. I also use ACT as well as mindfulness.

My role as a counsellor is to help support clients by providing a safe and nurturing environment where they feel heard, accepted and able to explore thoughts and feelings. I will work with you to identify the issues which are causing you distress and will work with you to resolve them.

Stress and anxiety can be debilitating and holding onto that mask that everything is ok, can be really hard. As time goes on sleep may become an issue and overthinking all the time. I can help with looking at ways to help you understand yourself and to find ways to help with the negative thoughts.

I worked for a sexual abuse charity, and have extra training in fertility and pregnancy issue, as well as clients in the medical profession, doctors, consultants, nurses and doctors. I work with post pregnancy traumas counselling new mums traumatic births , still birth and baby loss for both mums and/or partners.

I have worked extensively in my private practice with clients with a medical background, from GP, consultants, psychologist and nurses.

As well as the BACP I am a member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association)

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
