For some, life throws us a curveball and often when we’re least expecting it. For others may feel that pressures have been building over a long period of time. We can face challenges and get stuck which sometimes can be overwhelming. Depression, anxiety, stresses and issues in life may lead you to needing a person to talk to who is neutral, non-judgmental, empathetic and a good listener. Your wellbeing is important to me so I will treat you with the upmost respect and work with you to help achieve your goals.

I'm an integrative counsellor that works with individuals, young people and couples. This means I will tailor my sessions to suit your individual needs whether that is talking with you, exploring past issues and events or working more creatively to help you work through whatever is bothering you.

Building a trusting relationship is key to successful therapy. I will work hard to make you feel comfortable and able to talk. Making that first contact can seem like an impossible step, yet getting the support you need can be life changing. You will be listened to, not judged and I will be beside you for as little or long as it takes.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
