Hello, my name is William Signey, BA Hons. MBACP, I am a level 6 counsellor/psychotherapist with over 6 years of experience and over 2000 hours work with clients. I work in an integrative way offering a safe, confidential environment for my clients, enabling them to understand their feelings and emotions in this ever-changing and demanding world. I have worked with problems such as PTSD, Depression, Abuse, Sexual and Physical, Historical/Childhood issues, Neglect, Anxiety, Panic attacks, Suicidal ideation, Phobias, avoidance, etc.

I have experience working with adults and children from the age of 10 years old within clinical settings and schools on a private basis. I have also worked with a mental health charity in a voluntary capacity.

Clients tell me that I have a way of deep empathy and understanding of their situations, feelings, and emotions, in many cases for the first time in their lives.

We can work together, to build trust, empathy, confidence, and autonomy, helping not just initially but ongoing and into the future.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I'm so glad I changed to William because he understands me so much and works at my pace to help me overcome my emotions and stress etc without diving it deep first off because that would lead to unnecessary stress on my behalf. Would highly recommend him.

I have never had a male councillor before, usually would run a mile if referred to one (my issue historically) However, William is very caring and I do feel safe with him. Thank you

Brilliant therapist! I have improved so much since therapy started, I just wish I started sooner with him :)

I am a therapist myself and I am getting so much benefit and insight from our sessions. William is deeply empathic, asks such thought-provoking questions and makes me feel very safe. I came to therapy feeling hopeless and stuck. After just a few sessions I have hope that I can feel better. Williams wisdom and expertise is creating a shift within myself. For 3 years I have been suffering with terrible PTSD symptoms but we are safely exploring the trauma together, in a measured and gentle way.
