After my conversation with Deborah, I made great links to my session and I was able to realise what my problem was and how I can fix it in time. I am a people pleaser for most times and I have learnt to say yes even when I should say not right now or no I am not available. Thank you!

My sessions with Debbi were a great source of support at a time when I needed it - she is empathetic, an excellent listener and always nonjudgemental. It felt easy to discuss any topic and talking things through with her gave me fresh perspective and clarity on issues I wanted to bring to therapy, particularly around grief and isolation. A really positive experience and I highly recommend!

Do you feel you are struggling?

Are you having feelings of not being good enough or fear that you’re a failure, or not living up to others expectations of you? You may feel alone and anxious, which is leaving you feeling unhappy with your life and stuck. Stuck in uncomfortable emotions or intrusive thoughts or stuck in relationships.

If it has, life may feel something like this:

• Overwhelming

• Relationships are strained or breaking down

• It has become difficult to voice what you need

• You feel anxious, depressed or feel that you have lost sight of your way

• You are experiencing disrupted sleep and are unable to relax

I believe that we tend to get stuck for valid reasons. Stress, anxiety, depression, fear, anger, frustration, conflict, confusion, sadness, loneliness, low self-esteem, confidence and energy, relationship difficulties, trust issues, disrupted sleep, numbness, boredom - sometimes their appearance can bring our awareness to something that may need attention

It can be hard to acknowledge that you are not feeling okay, and even harder pretending that you are which can often lead to feeling stuck in our emotions and thought patterns and this can be hard to see a way out, as if things will never change.

If you’re feeling sad, lost, or stuck, if low self-esteem is causing you to make poor choices and decisions, if you’re experiencing family issues, or feel unhappy in your relationship/marriage, if you're struggling with being a new parent, if you're recently separated, or you feel depressed, numb or detached after experiencing something traumatic, I may be able to help.

I describe my approach to therapy as person-centred, this means that if you come and see me, we will work together to identify, understand and explore the challenges in your life as you see them, and find solutions that make sense to you. I am flexible in my approach and my intent is to provide the best I can to facilitate each person to reach their full potential and to achieve all they wish.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Debroah has helped me to understand my true feelings and come to terms with the issues that were bothering me. She provides another perspective to my thoughts which I would never have considered, and it has helped me to understand my own mind better. Sometimes I fall into a bit of a slump, but a session with Deborah would always leave me feeling better afterwards. She is a great listener and very respectful of what I say.

I’ve really enjoyed my sessions with Deborah. She’s the best therapist I’ve had. I feel comfortable to talk about anything without being judged. She gives great advice/words. She also remembers everything I’ve previously told her (so I don’t have to spend time reexplaining my mental state every week). Each session makes me feel better - and have really helped me.

Debbie was a great therapist. She offered an empathetic approach, which made me feel immediately comfortable. She brought up great points to reflect on, and supplied worksheets to help me hone in and work on the specific issues I wanted to tackle. My sessions with her were extremely helpful, and I really enjoyed working with her!
