I am a trauma-informed counsellor working primarily from a humanistic person-centred approach, whilst integrating cognitive behavioural therapy, along with other therapeutic modalities in a way that feels tailored and unique for each client, depending on your individual needs.

My therapy style is warm and inclusive, inviting you to be the person you truly are; your truest and most authentic self - with no apologies, no judgements and no stigmatisation of labels. Together we can discover and uncover any pain and trauma that has perhaps remained 'hidden' along the way; in order to focus on processing and moving through that emotion, allowing for a sense of emotional and physical freedom, empowerment and acceptance.

My approach comprises of a non-judgemental, safe environment where I believe in treating everybody with care, sensitivity, dignity, respect and therapeutic compassion. My style and approach also draws influence from Gestalt, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Psychoanalysis, Transactional Analysis, Somatic Therapy & Mindfulness.

I believe in attuning to you and adjusting the therapeutic needs and treatment to meet you where you are in that moment, helping to encourage you to do the same. This enhances the therapeutic outcome and allows for us to work together to meet your needs and navigate your way through to the person you want to be and life you want to live.

I have experience working with clients with a wide range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, chronic illness, addiction, fertility issues, bereavement, trauma and OCD. And most importantly I genuinely care and have a big therapeutic heart.

You may not know why you need therapy right now; you may just know that something doesn't feel right and feel you need something/someone. I believe that, in even the most terrifying times, together we can work through them to promote change, healing, growth & acceptance. To help make life feel just that little bit easier - to be in your corner with you.

Reaching out is one of the bravest decisions you can make and I value that - I offer you that space to feel heard and understood without judgement. That alone can bring positive change. I look forward to working with you.
