Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Michael has been a huge help to me. His insights are often spot on and he helps me to reframe situations and relationships so I can move through or past feelings that have been holding me back. He is a caring, compassionate and empathetic therapist.
I am more than happy with Michael as my therapist. He listens attentively, making it easy to open up and share my thoughts and feelings. With him, I can be completely honest, knowing that he understands my struggles and offers valuable advice when I need it. Michael has been a tremendous support, and I am grateful for his expertise and compassionate approach to therapy."
I already have a therapist that I see monthyl but I contacted BetterHelp after going through a tough time to get temporary help on more of a regular weekly basis for a while and have the availability to send a message incase I felt really bad on certain days. I got connected with Michael and he came off very professionally with a great insight on my situation. He always responded quickly whenever it was possible to do so. He gave me a different perspective and approach to my issues and helped me get back on the right track and I am very grateful for that. I would very much recommend Michael as a therapist.
A really nice, knowledgeable guy. The time flies by and you know exactly where you are in the process.
Good listener , show compassion , non judgemental , engage in the conversation
He’s a cool dude, really nice and understanding, extremely respectful of me and my identity as a trans person, and has been helpful in unraveling the dynamics of family, trauma, and identity, as well as helping me understand things from my partner’s perspective during arguments.
