More about Margaret

Hello there! I am so glad you are here.

I have extensive experience in helping individuals, couples and groups with anxiety, depression, prenatal/postpartum mood disorders, substance use, stress within relationships, etc. For most of my career, I have worked with individuals who wish to focus on addressing triggers, identifying strengths and brainstorming coping skills and strategies for living happier, fuller lives.

I attended Saint Louis University for undergraduate studies where I graduated with a degree in social work and a minor in Theological Studies. I continued at SLU where I received a Master's Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on health and mental health.

I have been a social worker for 12+ years and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) for seven years. I am fully licensed in the state of Missouri where I reside. I am particularly passionate about a work/life balance and ways to be present as a mom but also effective as a clinician. Like most things in life, it is a balancing act!

I believe that you are the expert of your story. I also believe that we all have strengths that propel us forward and simultaneously things that may be holding us back from living out best lives. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started. We are in this together!

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
