Hi there,

I'm Lisa Rogers, a friendly qualified counsellor, who is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy who people find easy to approach.

I've worked with a number of different clients covering many areas and problems.

I've offered my clients support through difficult and worrying times and helped them gain some understanding of what is going on for them. This has helped them achieve a better understanding of themselves and how they react within certain situations. This has helped them get to a better place within their lives and where they feel confident to trust their decisions.

I make sure you feel relaxed and we will work at your own pace, allowing you to explore what's going on for you and I will be here helping you through that process. I've helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life and helped them manage the difficulties they are going through, being there to listen and support them at stressful times.

By being a counsellor you can rely on and feel safe with, I can help you start to look at the difficulties that are filling your head and start to help you make more sense of them.

My first experience as a counsellor was at a large Kent College where I trained on placement and then once qualified, went on to continue at the college volunteering for a further 2 years. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of this organisation and helping the students manage the things in their lives that were causing them upset and trouble. I think this is also why I work particularly well with this age group.

I believe that people who have space to speak and explore their difficulties have a better chance of understanding and learning about who they are, which can help with the changes they may want to make.

I work with many different clients and I'm overwhelmed at how responsive all my clients are and how hard they work to gain an understanding of themselves.

If you are going through some difficulties at the minute please contact me and I will be happy to be in touch with you to see if I can be of help to you.

Thank you for reading about me and the help I can offer you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
