Tanya is extremely understanding and supportive and always looks to provide different ways of thinking about a situation. She provides extra reading or helpful materials where she thinks it will help and I always feel like we manage to explore different thoughts and feelings which I wouldn’t be able to do on my own. I didn't expect to feel a shift after one call with a therapist and I know this may not be the case for everyone, but Tanya really helped me from the get-go. By validating how I was feeling, my mind finally slowed down and I could breathe again. Tanya really listens and it feels like she is holding my hand throughout the whole process. I came to tayna to help me with unaddressed childhood trauma that embedded bad traits in my life that caused issues in my adult life and relationships, she was absolutely amazing, listened to everything I said and was more helpful and very on hand to help learn coping mechanisms and fix my behaviour traits and be more active in my listening skill.
