It takes a lot of courage to step out and try something new. Because you are here, there must be some changes that you want to see in your life. To get the most out of our time together, I am hoping to give you the skills to deal with life challenges and create the life you want. Finding ways to manage now and practicing the skills as more challenges inevitably arise can turn even terrible situations into a learning experience, at minimum. As you master the skills, challenges turn into opportunities to grow because you will have more confidence in your own ability to cope and thrive. Uncertainty, situations, and intense emotions won't have the same power to control, worry, and impact us in a negative way, as they once did because you will be ready with this toolbox on hand/in mind. I have been licensed to provide therapeutic interventions as a clinical social worker for over 6 years, have worked with a multitude of diverse individuals, and have found that Dialectical Behavior Therapy is by far one of the most effective treatments out there. Feel free to look into it more. If this seems like something you are interested in learning more about, please schedule an appointment. I am here to support and empower you in this journey.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
