I think my therapist is very good at her job. I sometimes think I can be challenged more... but maybe that's my lack of mental health talking, she has challenged me. But I feel like I should be challenged more... but maybe for someone with mental health issues... she'd only challenging me where I need to be. Either way 5 stars out or 5.

I feel very safe in sessions with Sarah. At the moment taking a pro-active approach, processing thoroug my current situation. We have conversations that are opening and nourishing, making me question, enquire and inquire, diving into whatever comes up. This is offering me balance of being heard, support, courage to forgive& be myself. I feel more open to address my vulnerabilities and fears. Better Help have made a good match, for me, as it's exactly the right time and right place.

Introduction

Experienced in supporting adults find purpose in their lives and work through their grief brought about by loss and change that is beyond their control.

About me

Are you feeling sad, stressed anxious and alone. You may be struggling to process difficult emotions arising from events which have occurred in your life. Counselling can provide a safe place for you to process difficult emotions arising from events which occur in many people’s lives at some time. If you are going through a relationship breakdown, bereavement, family issues or work-related problems I understand how you are feeling as my personal experience means that I have been there myself. I can support you to improve your wellbeing and mental health.

My name is Sarah I am an online therapist. I am fully qualified, insured and registered with the BACP. As well as working privately I have experience of working with adults in a variety of environments, including the NHS and charity settings. I also have extensive experience of working with survivors of rape and sexual assault. I have a special interest in supporting people to cope with loss, abuse, trauma, and childhood issues. The way we cope with difficulties today can be affected by our previous experiences, including how we learnt to cope with challenges in childhood. I can work with you to understand your past experiences and how they may have influenced your life today. I have an informal and friendly approach and I will support you and work with you by providing you a confidential space for you to reflect and grow. By working with me I can help you experience the following benefits. Feeling calmer and less anxious, an understanding of who you are and not what you think you should be to other people, a sense of purpose and better sleep and not being kept awake by worries.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
