Elinor is a wonderful therapist. From day 1 we got along great, and she offered nothing but compassion and professional guidance. She remembers things i told her a few (or 10) sessions ago, and it really feels like she is investend in my story, instead of just asking basic questions. We had many key moments where a simple question or sentence gave me the needed jump for a breaktrough, even if it was something i didn`t want to hear. I never felt pressured to do anything i didn't want and always felt like i could have ended the therapy with not strings attached. Not that i wanted to :) Elinor also has quite the reportoire of techniques up her sleeves and can switch seamlessly between different branches of therapy. Overall, i couldn`t be happier about her being my therapist and i can't recommend her enough.

I work as an integrative therapeutic counsellor. This approach ensures that I focus on your needs adapting the therapy as required to meet those needs. My practice is largely person centred, psychodynamic and humanistic which means the work is led by you the client and focused on the issues you present, providing empathy, unconditional positive regard for you and being congruent throughout. I also believe that our bodies can tell us a lot about unconscious feelings, and so I may bring mindfulness techniques into the practice if suitable.

I work with a wide variety of presenting problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, problems with sleeping, addictions, work related issues, relationship issues, self-esteem and loneliness, loss and bereavement, trauma and abuse, sexuality problems, isolation, social anxiety to name a few.

It takes courage to seek out help and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

In only 2 months of working with Elinor, I feel like I have made a progress in how I feel daily. Her way of allowing me to feel my emotions in a safe and non judgemental manner makes me feel heard and seen. Her comments are always on point and make me wonder and work on my issues. She gives me assignments and explains stuff in a way that I can understand and work on it. She has a motherly presence where one feels safe to explore their emotions. I am really greatfull for her!

Elinor is kind, compassionate and well-equipped with knowledge and expertise to help her clients. I'm really happy that I got matched with her.

Sep 2023

All in all a very pleasant experience. Elinor was always understanding and listening carefully to really get a sense of my specific issues. She didn't press for a quick fix, instead we took our time until I was able to basically figure it out by myself, with only small nudges by her. She has helped me immensely, and continues to do so. I don't regret one Euro i have spent on this.

With Elinor I feel in good hands and taken care of very well. She understands your situation, listens and gives excellent advice or techniques which you can integrate into your daily life. I can clearly see the process within myself. It takes time but it is so worth it. Elinor is a great therapist. I feel like she knows what really matters in mental health: She guides you through your journey and you will not regret it to reach out to her / reach out for help.

I've been having sessions with Elinor for a few months now after life and stress just got on top of me. Elinor has been amazing in helping me get through the issues that brought me to this breaking point. We have gently explored my past and this has really helped me to see how some trauma from my childhood was still affecting me today and how I can work to get past it. It has been hard work but I'm so glad that I'm doing it. I've learnt so much about myself in the last few months. Elinor asks all the right questions and really challenges me, all without pressure or judgement. I'm so glad I was matched with Elinor.

I’ve been working with Elinor for a while now and I’m so glad I got matched with her. She is very empathetic, understanding and non-judgmental in the sessions. When I was starting out, I was at a very low point. However, I felt lighter after every session with her and began to use the tools she suggested. It does take time, patience and work to improve your mental health, but you truly can get better step by step. And I’m incredible thankful to her that she is guiding me in the right direction.

Elinor is absolutely amazing! I’ve only had 1 session so far but she allows me to lead the session and there is no judgement. She makes me feel heard

Jan 2023

From our very first session I felt like Elinor and I just clicked. She is such a great listener and her guidance has really helped me to focus on the issues that I need to deal with and to actually look at them from a different perspective. She displays a lot of compassion and empathy and has created a safe space for me to be completely honest and open. I do enjoy every session with her and am grateful to have her as my therapist.

Elinor is great so far and very supportive

I wanted to write a review about Elinor. I've had 5 sessions with her and I've never felt more relieved in my entire life. I came to her with so many issues, addiction, potential breakup, anger management and so on. She's managed to calmly walk me through them all. She asks the right questions which make me remember things I didn't even think were related - and then it all makes sense. I went from a ball of anxiety, to now feeling like the weight is lifting off my chest every single time I speak to her. She gives worksheets and feedback whenever I need, and honestly I look forward to our sessions every week. I've had about 4 therapists in my life and she's by far the best. Thanks to Elinor and thank you to BetterHelp for this amazing service. I'm so grateful for you all.

Nov 2022

Nov 2022

I've had a few sessions with Elinor now and I'm finding them very useful. She's been able to give me practical steps to change some unhelpful behaviour as well as helping me begin to make sense of some of the issues I'm experiencing at the moment. I'm looking forward to working with her more.
