Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.

I am a 43 year old human being, independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with 15 years of professional work experience in social services. I have worked extensively in emergency mental health, elder, adult, and child and adolescent services, and truly understand the challenges that come with navigating the support system within the Commonwealth. I have a passion helping clients with motivation, self esteem, confidence, anxiety & depression. Mostly, I just enjoy the feeling of making a connection and helping people better understand themselves and feel progression.

I can be helpful guiding individuals navigating the challenges they identify are worthy of change. I believe that most individuals have the capacity to identify areas of change without psychoanalysis. While receiving support with me you will never feel judged, as my role in service to you, is to help you learn to lead yourself down a path which is most comfortable and healthy for you.

I consider myself a generalist, comfortable in utilizing a multitude of methodologies, always with the focus of taking the direction of those seeking support, based upon their current needs and potential goals.

I am wide open to non traditional methods of support, thus I am ready and willing to engage in support using all available forms of communication including: journaling, worksheets, messaging, and Live text, chat, and phone. Additionally, I pride my support on committing to checking messaging 1-2 times a day during the week and occasionally on weekends, and work with individuals upon request to suit needs for sessions when my schedule is unavailable for selection.

I look forward to learning more about you.

-Chris

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Chris has been extremely helpful during my time working with him. He gives advice not only from a therapeutics perspective but also what feels as a listening friend’s perspective as well, and let’s you know when he is doing so. He is great with remembering topics discussed in previous meetings and makes a point to bring them up, and not bury them. I would highly recommend Chris.
