Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Maggie has honestly been so helpful. I feel as though I’m very picky when it comes to therapist and I’ve found it so easy to talk to her. She’s a great listener and makes me feel validated. Very grateful to have found her!

Maggie has been such a huge help for me while I work through issues of caregiver burnout, boundary setting, and big life changes. In the past, I previously had a not so great experience with therapy. It took a lot to get me to a place where I sought out care for my mental struggles. I have been so pleasantly surprised by my therapy experience with Maggie and Betterhelp. I feel like I have the support I need to get through my week and someone besides my friends and family to give me an objective look at my situation and work through my issues. I look forward to talking with Maggie each week and I always feel like my emotional load is a little lighter after our sessions.

Amazing!! Extremely relatable.

I started better health hearing great things but doubting that they could match me up with a therapist I would really connect with. I had been with several therapists/ counselors over the years and I think I went through roughly 10 and only had one I could really connect with. My first session I hit it right off with Maggie and literally went and told everyone how grateful I was. Unfortunately my personal situation got worse and I started doubting counseling all together because I thought I was wasting everyone’s time. Maggie has been nothing short of a godsend and has been completely patient and caring and has given me the exact advice that I need and that thought has been diminished. Maybe better health and I got lucky on this one but I would recommend her to anyone that needs the same help I have needed. I am very appreciative of her guidance and insight and I kind of dread the day that I don’t need to talk to her anymore.
