I am a State of Colorado licensed Mental Health provider and have been for nearly 30 years. I grew up in Michigan and attended Wayne State University achieving a BA in Psychology and a MSW . I have experience working in health care, hospice, schools, foster care and adoption, pregnancy services and stress management. I have had multiple trainings in a memory reprocessing technique called Flash technique which is an evidence-based technique that many trained EMDR therapists use with their clients. I have been trained in EMDR. With Flash, disturbing memories, such as abuse, accidents, school bullying can be successfully resolved in many people using Flash after doing just one 20 minute session. I use this technique in most sessions if my client is comfortable with it. I am also a licensed Massage Therapist and a member of the American Balint Society.
