Have you ever felt trapped? Unimportant and not knowing where you belong or feeling empty? Wondering what is my purpose in life and what steps do I need to take.

My name is Shaune and I get it, working as a professional counselor and living this life is difficult. Especially during these chaotic times everyone needs someone to talk to that can encourage them and help lighten the load with a positive conversation or a smile.

I’m not just any counselor, but relatable and ready to assist with solving some of life's challenges. Whatever it may be, I can help with finding solutions to ease emotional instability, depression, anxiety and ambivalence. In my seven years of experience people have enjoyed my interpersonal skills, social skills, and most importantly my transparency.

I like to use a cognitive based therapy approach, seeing people as human not judging them and meeting them where they are. My specialties would be CBT. Solution Focused therapy, and behavioral therapy.

I became a mental health professional because I worked with children in the juvenile system and realized that I was good at encouraging people to think. I enjoy seeing people take action, follow direction, and achieve positive outcomes. Most importantly I enjoy being a part of the transformational process seeing growth and development to more healthier lives.

My therapeutic philosophy would be summed up in words as Acceptance, Understanding and Purpose. Last but not least get to know me as a human being first and a therapist second.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
