Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I like talking with Susan because that’s what it is for me, a conversation. It feels like I have a voice that’s truly my own. I don’t have to be careful with my words or think about how my words and actions will affect someone else. She truly listens and empathizes with me while also encouraging me to grow and heal. Susan was and is still guiding me on my road to healing and growth. The steps are still mine as is the road that I take but she’s there to offer me encouragement and guidance when I need it. It’s nice and I like this safe platform that Susan and BetterHelp has given me so yeah thanks I appreciate the help.

I think Susan is a very strong, caring, positive, passionate, polite, intelligent, and informative person who knows what she is calling about. She is very open and honest with what she wants you to know and also is very supportive and encouraging to what you have to say as well. She gives you alot of tools and worksheets that she thinks will help you out in the long run with the issue you are dealing with and she doesn't want you to feel discouraged or upset that you let her down because you don't and she always told me that she is there to help me and please ask if you have any questions or issues with the worksheets. I like that she is very sympathetic and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in a heart beat!!
