Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I've been having regular sessions with Dan now since October 2023 ish and he's become an important part of my life in terms of my mental well being and helping me cope with stress, anxiety, and when my mind over thinks. He helps me see things from a different perspective, gives me things to read and has been a source of balance in what has been a very stressful period of my life.

One of the most important things about seeing a Therapist is their ability to make you feel at ease and gain your sense of trust. Dan certainly did that, we connected immediately and it's made our sessions far more open (and effective) as it has allowed me to open up about some very heavy (and traumatic) topics. It's still a work in progress but progress has very much been made and I already feel myself in a better mental (and happier) state.

Reviewed Nov 2023

Reviewed Jul 2023

Dan was very down to Earth and gave me some challenging questions to my thoughts about things. This really helped me change my perception of what was going on for me. Dan is very easy to get on with and guided me through troubled thoughts.
