Recent reviews

Georgia is very empathetic, a great listener, and you feel she cares. I’m very happy to have been matched with her.

Reviewed August 2024

Georgia asks questions which lead right to the core of the issues. Very helpful, not only to understand intellectually, but to actually feel the feelings at the aforementioned core of the issue. I have the impression that this has a healing effect on me. Also, I can trust her to be on my side even when I tell her things I did and am really ashamed of. She doesn’t judge, instead she tries to understand what are the needs behind my actions and how she can help me.

Looking for a counsellor can be a daunting experience, I feel it is a brave piece of us as individuals to be able to look inside and know when we need to reach out to a counsellor for support – it can be frightening to discuss our experiences and how we feel; Counsellors are trained to safely support you with areas of life that you may feel are painful and uncomfortable to explore, I will work at your pace in exploring any pieces you feel you want/need to bring to your sessions with me, the approach I use is an integrative approach which means I can draw on different models, theories and skills to help support you in the most appropriate way for how you are feeling and what you are experiencing, my approach has a person-centred core within this, meaning I will always offer you the conditions you need to feel safe and supported during sessions, this also means that sessions are led by you - I work at your pace and work in a way that suits you and your personality, I will always work towards your best interests, I work in a way that is always for the benefit of my client, which ensures I will always put you, your needs and your safety first. Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
