I'm so glad I picked Justine to be my therapist, we've had 2 sessions so far. She is such a good listener, doesn't judge and has given me techniques to help when I'm feeling really low. I appreciate how responsive she has been to her messages too. Thank you Justine.

I am a qualified counsellor in the UK with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence to name a few. I also have experience working with career difficulties, grief and family issues. Additionally I worked for charities including an historical sexual abuse charity and a women's charity during my training, which both gave me valuable knowledge and experience for private practice.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. We will work together to explore the right solutions for you over a number of sessions (average 12 weeks or longer) It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change and autonomy. I am here to support & empower you in that journey to help you find the solutions and answers that are right for you.
I work in private practice in Nottingham, as well as for BetterHelp, and I also enjoy volunteering my services to charity in order to give something back to the community.
I look forward to building a working relationship with you and supporting your growth.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Was nervous at the first session but makes you feel welcome and at ease
Living abroad, seeking company in English, I sought BetterHelp. Once I got assigned to Justine, I look forward to our weekly sessions, like a friendly chat with a kind, caring, listening ear. I can really feel that our live sessions help me to unravel snags that I experience throughout the week, and I am satisfied that I am on the right track to heal from the chronic patterns that I have. Outcome: I became a more patient parent.
Very good at listening and talks though whatever you need, interacts with the conversation instead of asking the same old questions
Justine has been amazing from the start. I’ve had a lot of years of built up emotions. Bottled them all up and thought I could just deal with them myself. To be very honest it all came crashing down when I realised I truly can’t. I can only say the most positive things about Justine. She’s extremely easy talking to. I feel very safe opening up to her. It’s only the start, I’m extremely grateful and looking forward to working more with her going forward. Words can’t express my gratitude right now.
Justine is and approachable providing a safe space to unpack my concerns. She also takes initiative to support me with my challenges during our sessions and also checking in during the week.
For my first experience with counselling, Justine made me feel completely at ease. It’s already given me confidence that I have a safe, non-judgemental space to talk through my experiences and aims at my own pace. I’m signing up for weekly sessions and feel really positive about future sessions.
