I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, trauma and abuse, eating disorders, & parenting issues.
During school I enjoyed working and volunteering with at risk communities in the Waco and Dallas area, such as the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, and Prestonwood Pregnancy Center in Richardson. As a counselor I have worked with children, teens, young adults and women dealing with eating disorders, abuse recovery, school related issues and relationship issues.
Following my time as a stay-at-home-mom, I worked as a children's minister, a preschool teacher, an administrative assistant at a middle school and opened my own bakery. I also have done some volunteer work with a counseling group offering large and small group weekend intensive counseling experiences. My kids and I stay busy with their activities, and volunteering at their schools and with our church.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Jamie has been so amazing! I am so thankful to her and Better Help for having her as a therapist, they knew what they were doing when they put her on.
Awesome as always.
Jamie has been a Godsend. She is compassionate, empathetic, and authentic. She offers a safe space without judgment, only warmth and curiosity. Since beginning therapy with her, I have seen so much positive growth and change in my mindsets and in my daily life. Having her support has been life-changing. I believe she truly cares about her clients and I highly recommend Jamie as a therapist.
Jamie is an amazing listener and always completely understanding. She connects the dots for me and helps shift my perspective. She lends an empathetic ear while also pushing you to think about your life in ways that help you keep moving forward.
I put off starting therapy for a long time because I heard that finding someone to confide in that you can trust, be vulnerable and feel comfortable with would take time and even take a couple different therapists until you found the right one. Jamie made it very easy for me and I feel extremely comfortable, empowered and motivated to keep putting in the work and booking sessions with her. I was extremely lucky to have felt this from my first therapist after my very first session. I am forever grateful for Jamie and her kind, warm energy she gives me at every session. She made something I thought would be very difficult, extremely easy. Jamie is amazing and I wish everyone could experience such an inviting and safe space with therapy.
Jamie is an incredible person. She has helped me so much with my recovery and through talking to her, it feels like I have made progress and can see it in my everyday life.
Jamie is the most impressive therapist I have worked with. She is so good at cutting through the distractions and surface issues and focusing in on the root cause of my problems. She does this by being extremely attentive and analytical and truly understanding me based on our previous conversations. There have been a number of very old and deep concerns and wounds that she has helped with. I can't recommend her enough!!!!
JAMIE brings compassion and understanding to her approach. She understands a biblical view point and I so appreciate her, I feel seen and heard. She has been an answer to prayer.
Jamie is great, she asks simple questions that help you think things through creating a thought path of your own and helps you understand and more easily solve your challenges. A small appreciated added touch is that she sends journalling questions in between sessions to help you be more mindful.
I've tried therapy in the past but did not have great luck. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and realized this was likely the root of my problems, which I hadn't realized thus hadn't been able to properly address. I decided to give therapy another go as I felt I could benefit now that I understood the root of my problems, though I was nervous based on my unproductive experiences in the past. I sought a therapist that had specific experience with ADHD and am SO happy I found Jamie. She made me feel so seen, comfortable, and understood from the very first session. I look forward to our session each week and feel confident that she will continue to be an integral source of help and support me as I strive to change my life, long-term, for the better!
Jamie is a great listener and focuses on my needs. Her advice is spot on every time.
Jamie has been a Godsend for our family. She is a great listener, kind, and tries to guide one to come to realizations on one’s own rather than just giving the answer to the problem.
Jamies great, she makes me feel deeply heard and validated while challenging my approach and understanding of my own emotions. I know without a doubt she cares for me as an individual and she shows that in the way she communicates.
Love Jamie!!!
Jamie is very respectful and compassionate in our sessions. She helps me identify things that are going on and always gives me an action plan. Therapy with Jamie has been a wonderful experience.
Jamie is great!
During a time in my life where I felt broken and lost, Jamie offered and continues to offer practical support with an expert touch of understanding and love. I feel like I can share anything and she will honestly help me. Her thoughtful guidance has been a blessing!
Everyone needs Jaime in their life.
Jamie listens with deep care for her clients. She provides direction for the session which I didn’t have previously and she is very knowledgeable on several topics. She is very resourceful and provides actionable steps to take with much compassion and understanding. With Jamie, I can see progress and growth. Finally! Thank you Jamie!
Jamie is very professional and knowledgeable. In a short time working together she is already helping me reveal some of the underlying problems I am facing. She makes it a safe spot for you to have a cathartic experience and emote.
Jamie has been a godsend to me and my family. I look forward to her calls and actually wish we could talk more than we do. Thank you Jamie.
Jamie has understood my problems with addiction and she offers different ideas and scenarios on winning the battle with addiction and the struggles that come with ADHD. She has told me about different strategies on how to remain calm and composed despite feeling overwhelmed. Plus she is a joy to talk to, and I always feel happy when I'm talking with her and after I've talked with her.
Jamie takes the time to listen attentively and really digs into my concerns, even if not fully articulated. She gives me insight and guides me through situations, helping me understand my behaviors and others'. I enjoy chatting with her and feel comfortable being open with her.
Great listener
She hears me and doesn't act like my issues are mundane or silly. She validates my thoughts and that feels good!
I’m really glad to have Jamie as my therapist. She listens to my concerns and offers many different solutions to combat them. Through talking with her I have learned a lot about myself and have seen my life change for the better ever since I’ve started talking to her.
