My name is Jayne Daniels; I am a qualified integrative counsellor with over 20 years’ experience. I offer different ways of working to suit your individual needs, including CBT, person centered and psycho dynamic. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence.

Counselling involves talking to someone who is trained to listen and is outside your family and friends. It gives you the space and place to explore your thoughts and feelings and work on things that are important to you and to help you to make sense of what is happening in your life. I provide a safe, non judgmental, confidential environment to allow you to explore and resolve your issues to support you through traumatic times to help you live a happy and fulfilling life.

You will not be told how to think, feel , what to do or given advice, but you will be helped and supported in finding your own answers. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
