Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Sara Ford is such a sweet, caring, patient therapist. I’ve had therapists before and all of them have led me to leave therapy. But Sara has been the ONLY therapist to truly make me feel accepted and welcomed (flaws AND strengths). Sara no only focuses on how to help you grow but also nourishes your current strengths

Sara and I haven’t been working together very long but I felt a connection with her right away. I trust her with stories difficult to share and her expertise and I’m truly looking forward to more work with her. Sara truly listens and understands and I haven’t had that with a therapist before. Thank you for what you do!

From the moment I chatted with Sara, we clicked. I really enjoyed my time with her during our virtual appointment and she made me feel like I had a safe space to vent. I love and appreciate that she came up with a plan of action for our next appointment together based on her training and experience with anxiety and panic attacks. I am really looking forward to my next appointment with Sara and I am so grateful I was paired with her!
