Lizzie was always extremely helpful and friendly, I felt safe in sharing my thoughts and experiences. She always responded quickly and accommodated my specific needs for times of the therapy. She provided extra help and resources outside of the therapy sessions. Can only recommend!

Lizzie has been amazing in helping me through a really challenging time in my life. As someone who’s not been brought up in an environment where therapy is commonplace, she has put me at ease and given me sound advice whilst also challenging me when I needed it. Would thoroughly recommend her as a therapist

It may be one or many things that have brought you here today, but whatever it is that you’re wanting to work on, I am here to support and empower you. I’ll do this by creating a safe, relaxed space where you feel comfortable to explore what’s going on for you without fear of any judgment. I’ll also always bring compassion, kindness and good humour too! I am not a ‘blank slate’ therapist; my style is informal, relational, warm, and open.

I work with clients looking for support with a variety of different challenges including (but not exclusively):

stress and anxiety management

* burnout, overwhelm, excessive worry, challenging beliefs

low mood and depression

* unhelpful thinking styles, negative self beliefs

emotional processing/emotional regulation

* emotional overwhelm, unhelpful coping strategies

confidence and self-esteem

* boundaries, people pleasing, self-beliefs, inner critic

coping with difficult life changes

* loss, bereavement, relationship breakdown

Don't worry if you don't recognise your experience from this list, this is only a small snapshot of the kind of things that may bring someone to therapy. If you're struggling with something and you feel that I could support you with it, please reach out and send me a message or arrange an introductory session so that we can explore it further.

I work in a ‘person-centred’ way which means that sessions are directed by you, in line with what you feel is most significant or important. And if you’re not sure what this might be, I’ll work with you to figure that out because ultimately, you know yourself best. I will offer different approaches, concepts and strategies that I feel will support you and as a result, sessions are highly individualised and tailored to you.

Often though, as I've realised over the years, the most powerful 'tool' I can offer you, is the time and space to feel heard which can be so profound and transformative in its own right. Whatever is going to best support you, we can work it out together.

I am a Humanistic, Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist. I support clients by drawing on a variety of techniques, tools and strategies. Fundamentally though, I am a person-centred therapist which means I put you and what’s most important to you at the heart of the session. I am professionally registered with the BACP. I believe in my client’s ability to take responsibility for themselves and their choices, and their capacity to fulfil their talents. I work with clients to realise these potentials.

I work holistically, so address each client as a whole person. I believe that addressing the whole person in mind-body-spirit can bring out the healthiest, happiest versions of ourselves.

I believe that the basis for all good therapy is the relationship and building trust.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
