I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York with 3 years of experience working in direct practice. I've worked mainly with older adults and people of all ages experiencing chronic pain. I've also provided group therapy, diagnostic assessment and case management to people suffering from depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, traumatic brain injury and bipolar disorder.
I believe that a supportive therapeutic environment in which the client is truly heard coupled with teaching relevant and effective skills will give clients the best outcomes. I utilize an established educational tool known as pain trainer when assisting with chronic pain. I also use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral techniques and believe strongly in connecting clients to relevant resources.
It is brave to better yourself through therapy. I'm grateful that you're considering working with me and will do my utmost to support you and utilize the best practices available to assist you on your journey.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
