I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and began my career in mental health while volunteering with a non-profit Children's Bereavement Center in Rhode Island as a High School student. Here, I facilitated expressive arts groups with grieving children and adolescents, continuing this work for six years. I continued my passion for helping others into college and received my Bachelor’s and Master of Social Work degree from Rhode Island College's School of Social Work. After graduating, I served on a grief and trauma team as a Sr. Clinical Therapist for two years while providing home based, enhanced outpatient clinical care to children and families. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in the therapeutic focus areas of anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, and family dynamics.
I believe in a person centered, trans-theoretical approach to therapy in order to meet the specific needs of each client. I blend my therapeutic style with Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solutions Focused, and Coaching. My main goal is to help people to accept that painful thoughts and feelings can co-exist alongside healthy behavior change and an improved quality of life. I strive to help clients become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so they view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
I help my clients learn skills to manage painful emotions by building insight and promoting empowerment while using empathy and actively listening.
When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy time with friends, family, and being a puppy dad to my red standard poodle, Maggie, who will grow up and train to be a therapy dog. I consider myself adventurous, and enjoy traveling the world, expanding my pallet every chance I get and making new and meaningful connections everywhere I go.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
