More about Stephanie

  • 12 years' experience
  • Female
  • LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, in Arizona with 11 years of professional work experience. I own a private practice in the state of Arizona called Anchor Counseling & Consulting Services. None of the websites listed on the internet are affiliated with us. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & depression. I have experience with many other areas of mental health disorders and disease not listed. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2013 with my Masters in Counseling degree. Previous to this, I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. I believe counseling is a wonderful resource for any person in a difficult situation, and I believe that working together we can help improve your situation and meet your goals.

I come from a nonjudgemental, humanistic counseling approach, which means I like to meet the client where they are at with their issues and make a plan together for how they would like to illicit change. I like to utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) approaches. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and I look forward to working together!

I turned to BetterHelp in the midst of a break up and felt like I was in a total crisis mode. After being assigned to Stephanie, I sent her sooo many voice messages explaining the situation and was very upset. Stephanie immediately jumped in, listened to all of my messages and concerns, and was able to help calm my anxiety about the situation and offer reasonable advice. She has been a really great listener, makes herself available, and is very responsive. I look forward to continuing my therapy journey with her!
