It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I’ve only been seeing Matthew Brown for a few months but I really enjoy every session. I find myself looking forward to speaking with him and hearing his thoughts on my situation. He listens and challenges me to be the best I can be. He’s really good at answering my questions but if there’s something he’s not entirely sure on he researches it and we talk about it in our next session. He takes the time to genuinely understand me and help me through my issues.
