Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Gwendolyn listens to me, asks questions that make me think and realize what I really want and don’t want. She assigns me things to do and sends me helpful information.
Gwendolyn Williamson not only makes time available for me, she listens when I talk and gives me homework that absolutely relates to me. She remembers things I have said in previous sessions and helps me understand the feelings I have. The thing I love the most is not only does she read my daily journals but she sends me a message the same day regarding what I write. The encouraging messages and support is what keeps me going.
Gwendolyn has been very insightful, patient and kind throughout our sessions and I look forward to our future sessions.
