I am licensed in Florida with 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I strive to offer a comfortable and safe place to explore your issues.

I have been in recovery from addiction for much of my adult life. Sharing that with those struggling with addiction is my way to actively utilize my 12th step. I empathize with where you are and hope you find my journey to be helpful as you begin and/or continue on yours.

When I meet with clients in person, I always let them know that I often have have two co-therapists with me, "Yogi" and "Bear" who are Shih Tzu's and will keep your information confidential. They may hang around my desk and and will probably want to meet you online, unless you object.

I have separate private practice as well as being online with Betterhelp so if there is a specific time that is not listed on the availability for appointments page, please let me know. I will do my best to accommodate your preference for a session time.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
